Team Menor takes on a fire walk for the Red Hen Project
We’re turning up the heat on our fundraising! On Wednesday 21st October 2026, Gemma, Andrew and Mandy will be taking part in a sponsored fire walk to raise money for the Red Hen Project and its work supporting children and families in Cambridgeshire.
It’s a challenge that will take our team well outside their comfort zone, but with a fantastic local cause to walk for, we’re ready to take those first steps.
Supporting families in our community
The Red Hen Project is a Cambridge-based charity that helps children and their families navigate challenges at home, at school and in everyday life.
Its family workers offer individual support in homes, schools and the community, helping parents build confidence, strengthen relationships and support their children’s wellbeing. Alongside this, the charity runs parenting courses, drop-ins, workshops and family activities, creating opportunities for families to connect and feel less isolated.
This work can make a lasting difference: giving families someone to turn to, helping children overcome barriers to learning and offering practical support when it is needed most.
A few brave steps for a worthwhile cause
At Menor, we’re proud to be part of the local community, and this fire walk is our chance to get behind a charity doing valuable work for families close to home.
Gemma, Andrew and Mandy will be taking on the challenge together, and we’d love our customers, friends and fellow businesses to help make their efforts count.
The Red Hen Project receives no statutory funding and relies on donations and grants to continue its work. By sponsoring Team Menor, you’ll be helping support the charity’s services for local children and families.
Help us make every step count
If you’re able to donate, we would be grateful for your support. Any amount you can give will help us raise funds for this brilliant charity.
Sponsor Gemma, Andrew and Mandy on the Team Menor fundraising page.
You can also help by sharing our sponsorship page with friends, family and colleagues.
Thank you for cheering us on and helping the Red Hen Project continue its work. Now all that’s left for us to do is take a deep breath… and get walking!
